Component of the spliceosomal U1 snRNP, which is essentialfor recognition of the pre-mRNA 5' splice-site and the subsequentassembly of the spliceosome. SNRPC/U1-C is directly involved in initial5' splice-site recognition for both constitutive and regulatedalternative splicing. The interaction with the 5' splice-site seems toprecede base-pairing between the pre-mRNA and the U1 snRNA. Stimulatescommitment or early (E) complex formation by stabilizing the basepairing of the 5' end of the U1 snRNA and the 5' splice-site region. [1-4]

ResultsIt is reported that knockout of SNRPC leads to the decreased SARS-CoV-2 RNA levels compared with control group.
